Abstract: | Refer Policy on Managing Tourism Permissions to Operate in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park (http://hdl.handle.net/11017/588). In considering any expressions of interest received, the fundamental consideration of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA) will be ensuring the best possible outcome for the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. This might include both best environmental and presentation outcomes and greatest contributions to management. In general, we will be seeking to establish what an operator can offer above and beyond any mandatory requirements developed to ensure a sustainable tourism opportunity. |
