The purpose of this statement is to assist super-yachts to operate in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park (the Marine Park). It summarises the current management arrangements and explains where super-yachts can go. The Queensland Superyacht Strategy 2008-2013 defines a super-yacht as "a high value luxury vessel of 24 metres or more in length, both power and sail".
