Abstract: The Area for which this Plan of Management has been prepared includes many places, biological communities and species of high nature conservation and cultural value. The Area, as described in Schedule 1, includes some of the most intensively used reefs and waters of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Use of the Area is very diverse, and includes tourism and recreational activities, cultural activities and commercial and recreational fishing and collecting.
