Abstract: This draft policy is made under Section 7(4) of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Act 1975 (Cth) and applies to permissions granted under Part 2 of the Zoning Plan which involve the take of Protected Species. The draft policy aims to ensure that Protected Species of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park are protected and conserved through effective and consistent application of Section 105 of the Regulations to permissions which involve the take of Protected Species
