Abstract: | [Extract] ... GBRMPA commissioned consultants to prepare a number of technical reports in relation to dredge material management in the World Heritage Area ... This interpretative statement has been developed for the purpose of informing the readers of these reports — be they members of the public, scientists or agency staff — on their findings and limitations. It also demonstrates how GBRMPA interprets the reports and how the reports may be used. During the development of the statement, GBRMPA consulted with stakeholders including the Australian Institute of Marine Sciences, the Department of Environment and the Queensland Ports Association. |
