Corporate plan: 2015-2020

Abstract

This plan has been superseded by the Corporate Plan: 2016-2017. The Corporate Plan has been prepared for subsection 35 (1) of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 and will be reviewed and updated each year to take account of new information, emerging issues and progress on implementing key initiatives.

As an Australian statutory authority, the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority’s objective is the long-term protection of the Great Barrier Reef. This Corporate Plan identifies our key priorities for the next five years in responding to the challenge of improving the health and resilience of the Great Barrier Reef, while managing a multiple-use area. These priorities will shape the operation and direction of the agency into the future.
