Abstract

A summary of the Reef joint Field Management Program Annual Report: • meets the Great Barrier Reef Intergovernmental Agreement 2015 requirement to have an Annual Report for the Reef Joint Field Management Program (Program) • informs the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (Reef Authority), Queensland Department of Environment and Science (DES) and Queensland Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC) staff of the Program’s delivery of field management for the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area • reports on performance indicators for the Program • identifies emerging issues that require consideration in updating the Five-Year Business Strategy • forms a source of information for more targeted communication products that promote the work of the Program to a wider audience • provides the Program revenue, expenditure and carryover for 2022–23.
