| Abstract: | The Great Barrier Reef in all its majesty, magnificence, and beauty is understandably rated as one of the eight natural wonders of the world, and was the first Australian site inscribed on the World Heritage List. The region is awesome and so is the management task. Therefore it is with a great sense of challenge that I have entered into the position of Chairperson of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority. |
