The Commonwealth Commission of Inquiry into Shoalwater Bay, Capricomia Coast, Queensland (1994) provided information and recommendations for the future management of the terrestrial and marine areas of Shoalwater Bay. To supplement the terrestrially focussed information on recreational usage patterns presented in the Inquiry's report, the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA) commissioned this study to investigate marine-based recreational usage of the area.en
