Abstract: On 14-16 October 2013 an Outlook Consensus Workshop was hosted by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority. The objective of the workshop and surrounding process was to secure an independent set of expert judgements about condition, trends and risks in the Great Barrier Reef Region that could be used to inform the 2014 Great Barrier Reef Outlook Report. The workshop outcomes represent the combined and consensus judgements of thirty-one independent experts invited to attend.
